What are th think do you see whil joining a ptc

Do you join any site or you see anything special on the site!!! i mostly see the earnings aspects like what it pays me per click and what it pays per referral click and the minimum payout, etc. I don't mind waiting if the site looks good enough and if it's there to stay. But i really hate joining sites which offers less then 1 cent per click and does give atleast 50 percent of referral earning!! I don't see any poin clicking ads for less then a cent So what do you see when you join a ptc Thanks for responding
