Fresh cut grass!!

I love the smell of fresh cut grass, I like doing yard work, I not real crazy about flowers amd bushs, but I have fruit trees, nut trees, veggys, and grape vines. A fresh cut yard is just so beautiful to look at, every thing so green an fresh looking. How about you do you let your grass go untill it has to be cut, or do you keep it cut short.

Luckily where I live I don't have to cut the grass. I can't stand the smell of freshly cut grass because I'm also very allergic to it. I have massive sneezing fits whenever I am around it. My eyes water and my throat swells. It makes me miserable.

I too love to smell fresh cut grass. It has a smell all its own.I always enjoyed doing yard work also, but I am disabled and have a bad back, unfortunatly I can no longer do my own yard work anymore. I must have my son-in-law do mine for me now.I do like for my yard to look nice, because I live right on main street, so everyone can see it.I have so many trees, schrubs and flowers planted too, I have hedges all in the front of my yard.I always have my grass cut when it needs it, never let it get too high.

I to have become disable, I had open heart surgery in 2003, and had another heart attack in nov. last year, but I still have to get out of the house, if only for short period of time. I can still ride the mower, and set down and pull weeds. I think if I just stayed in the house all the time I would go crazy. To me flowers and shrubs are to much work and no return, that's why I like friut, and nut trees, they give you something back for the care you give them. Have a great day Hardluck.

I live in a desert with a water shortage/drought. Homeowners aren't allowed to have grass lawns. But, I live in an apartment anyway. I don't like outdoor work and I have extremely severe allergies.

I love the smell of fresh cut grass - we like to keep our grass short.
