Why pink?

I've visited a lot of site and most of female pages got a part of it that is pink. Even in many things that a girl have pink is always their favorite. I wonder why? Girls could you answer this?

well i guess most of us jsut like the color pink some dont have a reason some do. I like pink just because its a fairly pretty color however thats not my only favorite color i also like sky blue. So not everything i have is pink.

ugh i hate pink.. i like blues, black.. the closest girly wise color would be purple

Probably because pink is the default color if you're talking about this website. I would change the color scheme if I knew how :)
