What would you do if your spouse/partner was doing this?

Your spouse/partner is involved in doing illegal things like dealing drugs or embezzling money. Would you turn him/her in even if their illegal activities weren't putting you and/or your family in danger? Or would you just go on with life & deal with it because you love the person so much that you couldn't imagine them in prison?

If I love her so much, I would frantically try and talk her out of it. I would talk to her that perhaps I should engage a professional in the matter. I would have to get her confidence and promise her that it will be done confidentially.
A loved one engaging in all this vice is a great concern to any one. With enough effort and dedication, change can be achieved and you might even be surprised by yourself that you just rehabilitated someone!

If it's a legal spouse, you'd have to be careful since often, testimonies about a spouse is inadmissible. It's considered privileged information, like doctor confidentiality.

hmmm. That's tough. If i really loved the person then I wouldn't turn them in. Unless it was hurting my children. Children always come first in my book doesn't matter how much I love the person I would love my kids more. But first I would ask him to stop but then if he didn't I would contact the police and get him arrested. But if he did I would keep him and make sure he would never do that again.
