Earn money from ebooks

Most people on the internet are earning more money by selling their ebooks. Do you guys have plan to create your own ebook? I haven't yet created my own but I have plan to start my first ebook soon this is all about excel programming and I will make sure that this is different than the existing ebooks we have right now on the net. Most of them are not is layman's method which I think is the most easiest way of learning something, especially programming. I know this is a huge task and need more time to do it. Yet, I have my friend to work on this ebook. Hopefully, in the future, we can generate some money from it. How about you guys, do you earn money from ebook?
