Lots of PTC sites have the following terms concerning purchasing referrals:

Processing time:
2-5 working days.
Availability: Limited. First come, first serve.

I'm not sure this is acceptable. I haven't bought enough referrals to make the call
Do you think this is a sign of a scam or is it reasonable to be asked to wait 2-5 days for processing? Doesn't your money transfer upon completion of the transaction?

Could it be a disclaimer in case they have to wait for referrals to be available?
I know some sites show you how many of which package are available, and sometimes there aren't enough unattached members built up to sell.

Right, that's what I'm thinking is a possibility. I have no basis for fact on that one, though.
