Why there are some woman who's willing to be a mistress??

why there are some woman who's willing to be a mistress because they can get over with her someone, knowing that she can ruin a family still she's eager to get even just a little time and attention from that man, are they not thinking it is a mortal sin? I just cant understand why...

I don't get it but I have heard a few explanations. One is that the woman is being strung along by the guy saying he is going to leave his wife (even if he never intends to). Other girls just do it for sport, it's easy to be a mistress because you get all the fun and perks - not the day to day challenges that couples face.

Is that it, coz they only want to have fun and they are doing it for sports? A very shallow reason, are they not thinking that they are ruining a family? are they happy with that??

I don't get it, maybe some people were hurt and just like to hurt others. Hopefully I will never have to find out.
