hey panpanzhu, r u a chinese? if yes, u must use to it... i'm a chinese too and i face the same problem as u .... i hv 2 brother and i the only daughter... i think is just bcoz from the old old old generation, all the chinese think girl is not valid coz after marriage, they will lose their daughter.... so, daughter is noe valid..... all tat is just my comment lah... as i noe almost the all chinese oso like tat but now getting better coz the generation start changing....

hi panpanzhu!!!your mother likes your brother rather than you,you are noone to judge this.every parents love their children maybe boy or girl.when she is giving you a good upbringing you should not think this way.everyones way of showing love is different.you can not compare with anyone.but its the case that he's a boy & you are a girl,& mother differentiates between both of you.then you have to accept this fact.you cannot make others to love you but yes you can do good things that you mother would feel proud of you.

it is the common scenarios in many countries. I am from india. its there as well in our society. Girls are always looked down. but thank God this discrimination is not there in family.
