Its so HOT!

Oh my goodness 106! Uggh miserable for sure without air conditioning. Sorry you are going through this and I hope you get a replacement air conditioner quickly. It's not fun having to go to bed with wet cloths on just to sleep. I used to do that when I lived in my trailer and my air conditioner didn't work. I'd soak two big beach towels, put one under me and one on top of me then put the fan right next to the bed. I'd even take short naps in the bathtub! We've been having the opposite problem here for the last few days. This is the coldest September I can remember! Right now it's 49 degrees and I'm freezing! I've got my thermal pajamas on and still cold. Very unusual for us. We don't usually get this cold until late October. I just keep the hot coffee and tea flowing and my little couch blanket handy! I hope this isn't an indication that we're going to have a long cold winter. Hope it cools off for you soon my friend.

Poor you! It is annoying lying there because when it is too hot to sleep it is too hot to think, too, isn't it.

Oh man, that is bad news.. I am surely in sympathy. Hate that hot, hot weather!

OMG LKo you are hot-I remember the last time I had to keep cool w/ a wet rag boy it was torture lol thank God it's starting to cool off here in SC +'s |:)

Has it cooled down a tad yet? I know how you feel Lakota..I've never had AC in my apt...a fan only does so much (like just circulate hot air...yuck)...during our very hot days here I would have to race to the kitchen and literally dunk water on my head to cool me down...at night I would have wetted paper towels of cold water and pat myself with them Thankfully our weather has cooled off really well now..we're actually in the high 60s or low 70s now...Keep cool!

thats good still hot in your area.in germany day and night cold already.looks like there will be a early winter.

Hopefully it will cool down soon. Hopefully you can get that fixed in the near future. It is hard to do anything when it is that hot. Enjoy that pool!!

I truly feel for you! I do not know what I would do if I had no A/c. It is the himidity here that really gets me. xxOOxx

Oh my 106 drgress and no AC. I feel for you. I hope you get it fixed soon. Maybe yiu can get a fan and sit it right in front of you this might help some.

its hot too i have sweated this summer with degrees of over a 100 i have to say i can,t wait until winter. sorry about your ac

That sure is hot...It was like that when we lived in Arizona...Here in Pennsylvania it doesn't get that hot... I hope you get your AC fixed soon....stay cool..hugs

OMG....where are you? Here where I live all the hot weather is gone, its starting to get cooler, I think fall is just around the corner, our temps. have been in the 70's to middle 80's these past few days. We've also gotten alot of rain, I think its because of the hurricanes, I don't think we'll see any more 90 degree weather from here on out. I live in Oklahoma....I know what its like being hot tho, just a couple months ago we were getting 100+ temps. and it was miserable, I could imagine if your AC doesn't work, I wouldn't be able to sleep either. I hope things cool off for you where your at soon...take care...

I don't know how bad is the heat in your place but our place is hot hot hot and am sure if you're here you will not be able to tolerate the heat. I am so used to this kind of condition. I am very sensitive to coldness and do not like to sleep in an aircon room.
