True! Really true, i'm a math teacher, and i really got upset when my student didn't paying attention. Sometimes i wonder, why this teens student always take things for granted. What they gonna do someday? In my country, without good education, we'll never achieve any further.

Sometimes I wonder exaclty what they are doing that is for sure . My son is 13 now and still has a hard time reading and writing . I started complaining about this when he was in grade 2 and kept being told not to worry about it as they were more worried about his self esteem because he was shy , then the fact that he was unable to read and write . Well what about his self esteem now , all his classmates can read and write and he still struggles and had to be put on and I.P Program . If they had worried as much about his not being able to read and write as they did about his self esteem he would probably feel better about school today . This will be the third year that I have been fighting with the school to get him some help . Last year we found out he had a speech impidement and they had the nerve to tell me that he was now to old to help out , that if this had been picked up on when he was younger it would have been differnt . He is in french emersion and never did learn to pick up on the language because of the speech impidiment and when I suggested moving him to English they said this wouldn't be a good idea , they said he would never pick up on the French language but that because he was always taught in French and still can't read or write that it would make it worse to put him in English where he knows none of the children and wouldn't be able to do that language either because he missed to much . So what are they doing , absolutely nothing !! Of course when I speak to them they explain to me all these new things they are going to try out but we are still waiting for these things to be put in place . Each year he gets more and more behind and yet they still do nothing . I have a lot of problems with the school , this being only one of my problems . If I could ever win the lotto , I would pull my children from school and hire someone to home school them . At least that way I would know my child was being taught something instead of being pushed through each grade and learning nothing . My daughter just started school this year and already can read little books . I will have no problems with her being able to learn so I won't have to worry about her but her younger sister seems to have the same problems with her speech as her brother so it worries me to realzie what is in store for her .
