call me a sentimental fool but i have ever done playing one relevant song over and over again. i did it not only once, both when i fell in love, fell out of it and until i found my husband and become the love of my life. so, have you ever done this so far?

i did the same thing as you. when i love a song too much, i will listen again and again until i don't like it. i can't remember how long did i take, but when i listen that song again, i feel awful, haha, it is more strange than you. i don't think that you are a sentimental fool. if a song can make you do this, it is a good song and really do touch you!

I have done this many times . I tend to wear out a song if I like it lol . I can listen to the same tape over and over again just because I like the songs on it . A friend of mine keeps telling me I need something new , as she made the tape and she finds it getting old since we listened to it all summer when we went any place . She made me another tape and I am still using the old one because I like all the songs on it . It isn't only one song on it that I like but all of them lol .

I remember the time when I was really hooked on the song called "Better than life" by Hillsong (the same time I became a Hillsong addict).
I listened to this song for the whole week! Well not continuously, but I played it for like 10-12 hours a day for that week alone. I like it since it's a jumpy song along with a very catchy tune and nice lyrics as well.
Listen to this song through YouTube:

By the way, Hillsong is a Christian band from Australia. If you're a God-fearing girl, then I think you'll love this song as much as I do.

Well well well... I have this song. I played it over and over and over again because I just like it so much. I didn't know whether it is relevant or not, but the thing I am sure is that this song has gone too deep in my mind, so I can't help to play it over and over again. Even after years, I still missing something when I listen to the song.
Maybe the memories of the song I would never let go. But I've already forgot the memories behind it, just the song left in the corner of my mind

I didn't use to. I was afraid of burning the song out. But I've recently got into Leonard Cohen and it's very hard not to listen to his songs multiple times. I have done this with some Radiohead songs in the past, and one by Sublime (I'm not even a big fan of theirs) - Santeria, and one by Midlake (nor of theirs) - Roscoe.
