For Parents-Do You Watch Movies With Your Children If Rated Parental Guidance?

a question to parents, do you watch movies with your children if rated PG or parental Guidance? i just noticed one time, i had this friend whose daughter asks a lot of questions when we were once watching a thriller movie (mummy). the kid asked "mom, why does the man (imhotep) need to chase and kill all the people around?". my friend all of a sudden was speechless, then she gave the question back to me. OMG, i really do not know how to explain it. i just told, "well, he is a bad guy and that is something that is never to be imitated or done by good and nice people like us". then the innocent kid nodded. so, do you as parents do this parental guidance thing when watching a PG rated movie? 2 people like this

yes, everytime when my son watch any kind of movies or tv show i always explain to him what is good and bad and what he should or shouldn't do, 'cause some of movies or tv show now are not as in dangerous but there are some scene that is not suitable for kids eye..so our kids always need us to guide them and we should not let them watch any kind of movie or tvshow that is not good for them...

In my case as a child of my parent , i never watch movie with my parents as they are little bit more conservative , they hate scene like cuddling, kissing or some lewd remarks which are inevitably there in any movie. so i just turn on to other channel like news or reality shows channels.
To be more specific about your question its better not watch PG rated movie
cos at such tender age they don't need any kind of that entertainment like horror or thriller or any other such PG rated movie s it might effect them very much. Well its just my opinion.

Yes I watch PG rated movies with my children. I am very selective about the types of movies they watch though. If they have questions I have them wait until the movie is through. Then we'll discuss it. Usually it's a Disney film or something like that.
