Hi all my friends. I'm thank's a lot to all your participate in responding my discussion. I appreciate and happy for anyone who respond my discussion. But I seldom give a comment back to them and I had ever no give a comment back in my started discussion. I hope all my friends can understand my reason.
My reason is everytime I give a comment back is to say "thank's" or maybe a few sentences. So I think my comment will be delete by myLot admin because not very quality.
I start this discussion to say my apologize that for not giving comment back. I change it by say thank's in the last sentences of my discussion and rate all people that give a respond in my discussion.
Sincerely yours,
winzpc

When you don't comment back to responses it seems like you only make a discussions and don't bother to go back and read the responses. If I don't see a person commenting on their discussions then I don't want to respond to that persons discussions because I'm not sure that they are reading them.

A plus rating doesn't let a person know that you have read their response, but some comment does. They don't have to be long but can add to the discussion in some way. A thank you is not a very god comment because it is against the guidelines.

You're right. If I don't comment back, the people who respond my discussion will think like that.
But I have anticipate it by always make all rate to them with "+". I always read all their response. But it's better to add with comment back.
Thank's a lot

I don't think that thats the exact reason why you don't comment back. I will comment them back even if I don't have anything to say. I won't thank them. I will say that I am happy to have their response. In between I also didn't comment back. I am frank to accept that I was more eagerly starting so many discussions at that time so that I can reach the payout level. Now I don't do that mistake. Everyone takes effort to reply to your discussion. And you are ill treating them without responding back. This will also affect you by reducing the number of responses. If your friends started to notice this, they will stop responding to your discussion. It will definitely affect you too. Happy mylotting.

Well, there are times I read over some of the responses in some of my discussions I have started and feel the same way. Those I tend to skip over and just move on to the next one I feel I can comment on. I know it is best to give a response back better than a Thanks as well. Sometimes a response just deserves a look and move on as well.

I feel that it is always a good gesture to respond to members who offer a post in your discussion. It is a way of saying that you acknowledge their participation and appreciate what they have to share. I think your apprehension about offering short replies not equating to quality is unfounded. MyLot values members who initiate good discussions and also provide well thought out responses to discussions raised. In this respect, I don't think it applies so much to the thread starter's responses to members postings. Of course, if you can write more and keep the discussion going, that will be great. I've come across countless cases of members just saying a simple thank you or a one-line reply when people participate in their discussions. If myLot penalizes people for doing this by deleting their posts as you fear they might, then many members would have had their posts deleted in the past, but you don't see that happening right? So I'd day go ahead and make simple comments/thank yous if you feel the need to and don't worry about being faulted for this.

Since I do not know if one gets paid for a quality comment or not, I usually do, but sometimes I do not want to give one. The subject hurts too much or the reply hurts too much. I prefer to just give a plus or minus sign and let it go at that. I also do not know if mylot pays when you give a plus or minus sign. Since the comment might get paid if one writes a quality response, I sometimes feel that I have to say more than a few words and if I cannot, and I give a plus do I get paid for that. Also I do not know if the comments I get paid for are the ones on other people's discussions, so I am confused.

That's no problem. Everybody has different customs. I usually add my comments to the responders, even if it's only "thanks for your response". As I think at least I let them know I really appreciate to their replies.

It's ok, no hard feelings ^_^ NOw that u have explained it in this posts, i guess all the other mylotters whom had responded to this discussion, will understand ^_^ Because if all the other members whom had respond to your discussions and u, by commenting with a thanks, causing the whole discussion to be deleted, all the members will be unhappy too ^_^
SO now, u have cleared it here and it should not be a problem ^_^

winzpc nobody expects a huge comment just show that you are glad the person responded to your discussion. I seldom write over a
sentence or two and just more to thank and to make a short little comment. I get behind and I think my friends know that so they are not upset with me. you will do just fine,

Hello winzpc. It is ok for you not to give any comment to my response because I think that everyone has his own reason for doing so. As you have already narrated about your view in the discussion, absolutely it is ok on my side. But you don't have to worry about your comment will be deleted by mylot admin. I don't think that it will be deleted if your comment is as simple as Thank you or Thanks. Anyway, happy posting.

i really feel the same way when i do not give back comments or even a little thank you for those who gives responses to my discussions. and for those who really put his effort on helping me out on my discussion. i also planned on posting a discussion just to say thanks to those who responds to my discussions. maybe i should practice giving back comments and making it a habit now. happy mylotting!

I do not think mylot admin will delete your responses because they are bad quality. I always make it a point to repond to all those who post in my discsussions. When the responses are too many I may be a bit late in responding but I feel that it is better late than never.

I have also not been able to
comment back on all of the
discussions that I have started.
As you have said, I also don't
want to just post a comment of
"thank you" because it is against
myLot policies and I don't think
my respondents would feel very
good about it.
Have a nice day!

Hi from what I have seen it is ok for them to be short. As most of mine are. As in some of them there are not enough words to put in for some of them. A thank you is cool I think. But that is nice of you to say thank you. I enjoy that. YOur friend Onlydia
