How would you influence your sister positively?

I'm the eldest female in my family. Thus, I have the responsibility in influencing my younger sisters in a positive way. I'm actually troubled on how to be a good example to them. As what happened to my sister next to me, she was the "not good". I tried to give advises, did good, and supported her. Still, there weren't any changes observed in her behaviour. I do blame myself for not being "enough" to her. Well i do believe that this happens to a lot of families. Some became successful in their aim of changing the 'negative' to 'positive'. I would want to know the effective ways applied in such.

The best way to influence a person, for me, is through example.
But remember not to put the blame on yourself because people around us make decision for themselves.. whether they follow our advise or not..it's really up to them or to our sisters'.
The best we can do is to be beside them to support them in whatever decision they make in life.
