Hey,mari123.From my point of view,I think first impression is important. It tells us whether we should continue to have a contact with the other people futher. And in the first impression,I always look at people's eyes.Because there is saying that eyes could expressed the emotion of one's mind.We can find what the other people is thinking about and it helps us recognise him or her. That's my opinion.

Well, I think that the first impression is very important to us. Whenever I deal with someone, I pay more attention to his or her behavior like way of talking. I like people with good manners and modest, who can always leave me a very good initial impression. Take care, mari.

I think it can be very important because it IS the first experience we have of someone. Our immediate take on how we feel about them will determine our own comfort levels and manner in dealing with someone we meet for the first time. I am not sure which part of the body I check first but it is probably a quick glance of them overall. I do take notice of body language and facial expressions though because this does help me to realize very quickly the mood they are in and the type of basepersonality they have. Someone who is somewhat aggressive or arrogant can be picked immediately by their body language and handshake for example.

I think it is. Firsts are really important as they will remain in ones' mind. Upon meeting someone, I really observe a lot and see his or her manners right away. One's manners and values are merely seen the way he or she moves and talks. I just keep on observing.
