Wearing glasses can really protect my eyes?

As you can see I am wearing this kind of glasses, it has 40%uv ultraviolet. I wear it to protect my eyes not only on dust or sun light I also use it in front of my computer. Is it useful to put glass when seating in front of my computer? And if it is not good for protecting my eyes. What kind of sun glasses should I wear when working? Although my computer have a screen filter anti radiation I still wear it. Cause if I dont my eyes still affected. Sometimes when I put some color on my design like yellow or light green. I cant stay it any longer then it started to feel some pain in my left eye. I never try to have some checkup before.
