Hi friends,What happens if we dont present tags for our discussions and responses? Is tagging our discussions so important?Does it affect our earnings ,ratings or activities if we skip tagging.Does tagging our own discussions makes our discussions popular?I cant understand about this tagging. Can you please share your opinions?

Tagging is not really a compulsory thing here. And I don't think it has a direct connection with ratings and earnings.
I don't see any need to tag other member's discussion but I think tagging your own discussion is important.
As you have said, it makes your discussion more popular. When you tag your discussion, it is now linked to other discussions which have the same tag and your discussion may appear in the "similar discussions" section giving it more exposure.
More exposure means more chances to get responses.

I think, by tagging, we help in grouping discussions. This can indirectly increase the popularity. This is because a person can search discussions based on these tags and hence if it's an interesting or popular discussion, then it naturally becomes popular.
I Think when the discussion becomes popular, the earnings also increases as we get more responses and we comment the responses we get etc.
It is a good thing to do, but not mandatory.

i don't think it affects our earnings nor even our ratings. but still i don't know too why do we have to tag them. i think tags are for advance searching of topics and discussions. but i do sometimes feel bored of tagging all my responses even if i'm at the same interest still. anyway lets' just tag them! good luck and happy mylotting!
