You have given a list of 5 of the most dangerous places to visit because there are war/terrorist threats against westerners in these places.
I think it would be better to look at places that are on the touristy map and advise people to visit or not to visit and give reasons.
My number one worst place to visit is USA.
I object to being treated like a terrorist because I want to go on holiday there. A few years ago, someone I know applied for a US tourist VISA and was refused. When i investigated further, I discovered that on the US Embassy website it indicated that they presumed that everyone was a risk unless you could prove otherwise.
They considered that any conviction, no matter how old or trivial should still be valid reason for rejection. my friend had a trivial conviction from 10 years earlier. In UK it was considered spent at 5 years, but not in USA.
I do not wish to visit a country that does not want tourists.

If I have choices, I prefer Europe than USA. I did not hate US, but just not like it. It's not easy to pass the immigration at the airport. Many questions asked, many reasons have to be given etc. etc.
Australia is no one country which I must avoid. Australian government didn't approve my visa to visit her country, so what should I do?. Avoid it.
Israel also not in my list since my passport rules, cannot visit Israel. Other than that I think, it should be no problem.

Here is my top five:
1. Afghanistan
2. Iraq
3. North Korea
4. Southern Mindanao in the Philippines
5. Antarctica
I wouldn't go anywhere that is having a war at the moment but if it becomes peaceful again there in the future I would go there. I have been to Croatia after the war in ex-Yugoslavia. I have been to Israel and had a safe time there but trouble often brews up there. I don't think I would go to the Antarctica because trips there are wildly expensive. I would enjoy seeing the penguins there but I wouldn't like the cold weather all that much.
