What happens if you skip the tag?

Is there some kind of My Lot gnome that gives you more brownie points if you tag a discussion, and gives you some kind of cyber demerits if you skip the tag? This step in my lot makes it take longer to post, and therefore less posts for your time. I know it's just a little bit, but it's enough for me to not post often. I read posts form My Lot every day, but I rarely post as you can see by my small number. Do any of you do that too?

As you can see from my number I do post a lot and I have tagged every one of my posts with at least one word.
If you don't tag discussions they get lost among the rest and never found again. They don't turn up alongside discussions of similar topics. They don't get found in search engine results.
The more tags added to a discussion, the more readily it will be found, it will attract many more responses, it will have more value and it will earn more money.

I would always recommend that you tag your own discussion. It would give your discussion more popularity.
But I would not say tagging is directly related to earnings. I haven't proven it yet.
I sometimes skip tagging a discussion that is not mine.

Have a nice day!

Thanx richiem. I did actually tag this discussion. I figured the person starting the discussion should definately tag his/her discussions. The funny thing is, when I respond to a comment, I am not asked to tag. I will read that link you sent as soon as I get the time. Gotta send my Kindergardener off to school soon.
Ciao

I dont think, you will be losing some money, if you skip the tagging. It is that you will not be able to link back to that post of yours through searching.
Tagging would give more responses, as it would help mylot to link similar topics.
and, it would help you to keep track of your own posts. and, may be, there is a small weight to that tagging, while considering your posts. and its payout.

Interesting, thank you. I have a whole .21 cents on my account. Ha ha! I'm not here for the money, anyway, unless anyone know how I can make 100 buck a day My Lotting! I'm trying out affiliate marketing, but I come here to see what people are doing.
