When and how did you get into online piracy?

About 10 years back, when i started listening to music, a friend of mine told me to download Limewire (trial version) off download.com, which I did. After that, i was amazed to learn that I could get almost anything I want, be it music, movies, eBooks, anything at all, for free, through Limewire! Then I got hooked, and I started surfing, which led me to lots of forums online, and that's how I began! :D How about you?

yeah, I too found limewire and used it to build my music library. I used to use newsgroups, but limewire proved much faster. funny thing...you can use the trial version of limewire to download the full version??? the web is a wonderful thing!

Lol, that's an epic fail, using Limewire Trial to get the PRO version! :D Anyways it's way to dangerous to download applications from p2p applications such as Limewire, since you don't know the source from where you download. If at all I download warez, I get it from sites like RapidShare, who's link I get from forums such as ProjectW.org.
