Have you ever judged someone solely on their appearance and then been surprised by how wrong you were? Have you ever been judged in this way and then later people have come up to you to say how surprised they are that you are not like they thought at all?

witchwillow no i do not ever judge anyone as I hate
being judged. you are usually wrong and its unfair to the
person you are judging. I hate being judged as you folks
uaually try to tell me how awful I am for being overweight, now you do not even know me, or my history at all. how dare you judge me at all.

I have been overweight too and throughout my life have suffered from a form of eczema which makes people make very rude comments about you. I suppose I find that it is usually ignorance that makes people say such things. At the end of the day the only view that really matters is your own.
I think it is very sad that society only places a value on "pretty" people when others have so much to offer and as a friend of mine said what's pretty on the outside may not be very pretty on the inside.

yes i have and yes i have been. it is said that the first impression always counts. so true. but also, first impressions are almost always wrong. and let's face it, everyone judges everyone. that's how we're made. i think that we should really try to know someone better before we can say something good or bad about him/her.
