if you want to be able to pick up the pieces, you really need to have closure. you need to realize that it's really over and that you can't do anything else but put everything that reminds you about that relationship in a box and put it away.it is very important to know that life does go on even though you're heartbroken.

The only thing that can mend a broken heart is time. You pick yourself up and go on with your life, concentrating on yourself and setting new goals that do not involve the other person. It's not a good idea to jump into another relationship (rebound) until you have given yourself time to heal and to get rid of all the negative thoughts and hurt that you will carry around for awhile.

hello cutieapril,
it's a long and painful process. but for a start, CRY. I guess it's the best way to start healing your wounded heart. Feel the pain. Don't ignore it as if like you're brave enough not to feel the pain. CRY, UNTIL IT HURTS NO MORE. When you think you have already poured out your tears for this girl, breathe some air.Crying doesn't make you a lesser man. Cry! Don't forget that you've not gotten pains alone, but you've got great things too! :-)

breaking up doesn't mean the end of the world..at first it's hard but you have to have time to heal.. then try to reach out a friend of yours or if you're comfortable to talk this with your family then do it..do things that will distract you from thinking of your ex like going out with friends or watching comedy film..there's a lot of you can do if you're willing to move on..(",)
