cutieapril, I'm sorry that you're having such a rough time right now. To answer your question, no there are times when love is not enough. I was in a relationship long ago with a man I loved...and he loved me but I had three children and he had none so taking on that much responsibility was hard on him. He loved my children, too, but he ended up leaving after a few months and we continued to see each other. After a couple of months he wanted to come back and I promised myself at that time that, if he left again, I was not going to put myself through that pain again. As it turned out, about three months later, he felt overwhelmed again and moved out again and this time I changed my phone number afterwards and let him go. It hurt...it hurt alot...but love wasn't enough for him to stay and I needed consistancy in my life...for me and for my kids.

Nope, it is not fair to use love against a person in situations because the person who is leaving might want to follow their dreams but love might by holding them back in life.
