Yeah, that was a combination of cell, internet card and "roaming" in places they never were before. Makes one think huh?
I guess he called the news and his cell co and the fix the bill, their comment was it was a glith.
So can you imagine getting this type of cell bill?
Do you ever get over your limit?
Do you pay for roaming?
(To answer my own questions, NO, I never see me getting that type of bill, not even 100. I do go over the limit in my anytime minutes, now I have more. And I do not pay for roaming.)

I can imagine it, but I don't think we would ever get a bill like that! The highest bill we ever had was when we evacuated for hurricane Katrina. I think the bill ended up somewhere around $250 for one month (thankfully we didn't have to pay that bill!).
Do you ever get over your limit?
The only time we ever went over out limit was when we evacuated for hurricane Katrina.
Do you pay for roaming?
Nope. Does anyone pay for roaming?

First, I am glad your cell helped in your hour of need.
Did someone or the cell company help you because of hurrican Katrina?
I hope so.
And I do not pay for roaming but I hear other people do, that is how that family got that awful bill. And the glith help too.

Actually, at the time T-Mobile stepped in and said that they were going to pay all bills in the affected areas. No one had to call or anything. If I recall correctly we got 2 or 3 months of free service.

If anyone in this house ever had a cell phone bill like that, I'd probably take a hammer to all those cell phones. Yikes! Roaming charges suck big time.

Hi Shelly, One mighty big glitch I would say. I would never get this sort of bill as I use pay as you go and don't have a contract, that way I can only spend the credit that is one there, no scary moments like the family here. Ellie :D

I am not sure, I believe they were traveling in Canada (at least Dad was) and were charged with roaming on the side, at least in two providences where they never were)
It was like a combination of cell, laptop and interned card)
Having a car is much better than cell btw
