That is the way that our society has it set up to be. I am unsure of what they call the male secretaries... Good Question.. I guess, a woman looks more normal to be a secretary than a man. But, they do have men that are secretaries.. They just do other types of jobs with the same functions.

I'm sure there are male secretaries...it's a great big world...but both males and females are not referred to as secretaries anymore. They're referred to as Administrative Assistants.

There are male secretaris . But I now they are rare may be because people have set p ther ind as secretary means a women.It is just like that even if a companys chair man is a woe we call her chairman only because when they created that word hey thoght that only man is going to be on the chair.

Yes, I have seen male secretaries. But obviosly there are more female secretaries as compared to male secretaries. It might be because we males are more related to work which are more physical in nature. Females generally have an eye for detail, that is perhaps one aspect that will give them an edge on such kind of work.
