That is a day that I am sure I and no one else will ever forget because it was a day a terrorist act was committed against the great country of the United States of America,I still listen to the song Have You Forgotten by Darryl Worrley because it is a great song about the attack of the World Trade Center, and I remember I was in my tenth grade English class when it happened, and I remember I was in shock that it happened and I was sad for all the poor people who perished in the cowardly attack.

Yes, this is a day to never forget.. THIS DAY changed the American society. And it also changed how we all see the world for what it really is. It opened up my eyes. God wants us to get very serious and not play any games with him! This day is a very sad day.. I hate to even think about it.. So many lives were lost, never to be regained..

I definitely remember where I was. I was actually starting a new job that very day. I had then found out in the early phase of that crisis that there was an explosion in New York of a couple of buildings.
And of course, I came to find out more details later. I couldn't believe my eyes when the news had broadcast the two separate airplanes going toward the twin towers. I remember being scared that there was going to be war launched over on United States soil and worrying about different landmarks being destroyed.

Oh it has been quite a while since I stepped into that job that day. I have been doing a lot of moving around. That was when I lived in Pennsylvania still when 9-11 occurred. I now live in Alabama.

It is hard for me not to forget 9/11. I live in Chicago and that incident happened when I was in college. My dad is a teacher at the college and I remember we both came into his office and his colleague was listening to the radio and that was when we heard what happened at WTC. I was in denial the whole time and could not believe it. I remember the administration told everyone to go home because there were rumors that Chicago was one of the ones next to be hit. I saw the footage of WTC and cried. It was soo unreal. Everytime now 9/11 comes around, I call my uncle since that is his birthday and also have a moment of silence for all that lost a loved one.

How can anyone who watched those towers fall, knowing all the people that was trapped inside ever forget it. My fear is that if Obama is elected, it won't be long before we are hit again. I think he will make it very easy for the terriost to get back into the usa. As I watched this incident unfold on Tv, I litterly fell to my knees when the towers fell. This is something that will stick in the people's mind for the rest of our lives. And we pray that it will never happen again, but I am afraid that we will always live under this threat.

i remember the details of that day vividly. my son was only 8 months old at the time and i had taken him to the park for the very first time to go on the swings. it was to be a special memory for me but it is tainted by what i heard when i got him in the car to drive home. i heard about the two planes that had crashed into the world trade center and then i heard about the plane that crashed into the pentagon and i cannot tell you the fear that was coursing through me. i wondered what would happen next and tried to get home as quickly as possible. i tried my husband on his cell phone but of course could not get through as the lines were jammed. i did not know if he was in manhattan that day or not because his job takes him all over nj and ny at times. it is something i will never forget and i do not think anyone should forget.

ya, how can one forget that possibly. it was the incident which shook not only the nation but the whole world. it was just a barbaric act. i still remember when i first saw it in news. i was able to see people jump out of the building. i just couldn't even imagine how the people who saw that live would have felt. i think that people all over the world should maintain silence for a few minutes on the day and pray for them.

I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing on the day. After we watched on TV for awhile my community started a blood drive. I stood in line for two hours to give my own blood for the first time. There were so many people there that came out to give blood it was amazing. God Bless all the people and there family's who lost on that terrible day.

I am from Panama, in Central America. I was a little kid, and was at school but when the incident happened everyone went to the resting area (we had a big tv there) and all the channels were presenting the news. Although i was still a kid i realized how dangerous it was and was very scared X_X

Honestly, I'm DISGUSTED by all the EXPLOITATION and fad patriotism. I was disgusted on Sept 12th! It's ridiculous that this is going on 7 years later. Enough is enough - it's time to move on people!

Yeah I remember the events along with all the ambiguities with it.
What I mean is: What would 9/11 be without television?

Yes i remember everything about that day. I was in 10th grade just got into my 2nd period we would always have CNN on so we got the very early shots. I remember seeing the 2nd plane go into the 2nd tower and thinking wow that was not realy and at the same time hear the people telling the news kinda freak about because they watched it live with everyone else. my school was also very close to a airport so we got to watch the closing of the airport and they closed down the school no one could leave unless your parents showed up. and it had to be your parents! we had to eat lunch inside we could not walk the halls alone we were not able to leave to room to go to the bathroom unless a teacher walked us to the bathroom and stood outside. that day will always be somethng i remember. I am sure i will tell my children about it and my grandchildren. I cant believe its already been 7 years. I looked at the date yesterday and thought oh wow its almost 9/11.
