Can you Type without looking at the keyboard??

Yup, most of the time I can type sentences without looking at the keyboard. I guess practice does makes perfect. I've been typing every day here in mylot and I'm sure that helps with my typing skills. I can type with only looking at the monitor.

Hi vimaal, I can type without looking down to the keys on the keyboard or if I really want to see what i am doing and not spell something wrong if I am having a bad typing day then I might use my eyes and hands not my hands only for the keyboard. Catch ya later pretty-babe

i type with out looking.. i some times mistype since i tend to try to type faster than i should haha..

Hi, vimaal, I am praticing to type without looking at the keyboard but it is very difficult for me as I am not too good at typing very fast and sometimes I make a lot of mistakes, but I'm getting good. Tamara

Yes, quite easily. Though I can't sit down at a computer and type without looking at the keyboard once. I like how quickly the keyboard has turned into such an important mode of communication.

Well, there used to be a time when I use to fascinate and keep wishing that I can type like my teacher, my dad's employees, etc. They just type fantastic. It was just like a dream. Even in a movie, when I just used to see people type horribly fast - in Sci-fic- movies and I used to think that their typing is too sci-fi. lol. But now, I do really can type fast. I usually make errors with y,v and b. But as per the latest speed that I checked I type at around 60WPM. Its a great feeling, but I know of people who can type at the speed of 150 WPM and they are horribly accurate too! Superb - simply fantabulous! I dream of that now, but I guess I can reach that only by special training courses...

Yes I can type without looking at the keyboard, it was something that I studied in school and then went on to take more qualifications in at college. I never made a career out of my skills but when I started to use a keyboard again I realised that I could still remember where all the keys were on the keyboard and so after a bit of practise was able to type just as fast too.

I could possible do that. Just with the aphabets and not the numbers...hehehe. I have started using computer since I was 14.

I can type without looking at the keyboard. I can even type looking away from the moniter. :P I think I'm a pretty good typist. I can type 80some words a minute, last time I checked, lol.

I can't type without looking at the keyboard, I make much mistake in type without looking the keyboard. But from now I try to do it, because it will improve my type skill and I always have something to type in myLot. So myLot is a place that give me much advantage beside improving my english and earn some money. I hope one day I can type well without looking the keyboard. Congrats that you can type very well. I type the way I learned to do way back in high school. I learned to type on a manual Royal typewriter. Once you learn the correct way you never forget.

yes i can type without looking.can you?its actually hard to type any other way once you learn to do it like this.
