father and mother, whom do you prefer?

I have to say you start a very interesting and very difficult discussion. I'd really hate to choose between my father and mother because they are both very dear to me. They both are the reason why I am who I am and they have both given me so much support during the trials I had to face. Well in the spirit of discussion, you could say that I would pick my father since he is the one that I have less experience to be with than my mom so I can make up for lost time by being with him. But then again since my mom is the one who I am with most of the time, then I suppose I would pick her since I wouldn't be able to bare being apart form here. In the end, as I have told you I can't really decide whom to choose between them. How about you? How wuld you choose?

Hi Tianli, a very hard choice for me, as I love both my parents very much. Both my parents were very supportive of me in most of my decisions, and have always been around to help and guide me; but maybe I could communicate better with my dad. My dad talks to me a lot; in fact, we spend a lot of time together, talking about our families, my work, politics, business, economics and almost everything.

I prefer to have both of my parents in my life.. They are both needed.. But, my dad, right now, is becoming someone that I cannot trust anymore.. Right now I would rather have my mom over my father.

I love my mother more than my father. Becaouse my mother has good character, good cook, good patient. Although she has not good education for my grandmother's family is poor, but she has many good qualities on her. And she teach many things that books cann't tell me, such as good character and good attitude to life etc. I love my parents, wish them to be happy in their old age.

I don't prefer either my mother or my father, I love them both equally. I agree that each of them is better is different situations, but I don't have my favourites. I think it's wrong to have favourites anyway. I couldn't live without either of them, I love them so much!

I have to say my mother just because we are like best friend and would get along better.
