As I have said before, we are not having a very auspicious year whatsoever, so when my other half acquired 2 kittens on the island I said better get them to the vet as soon as they are old enough to get into trouble. "oh, no need for that, they fight like cat and dog" was the verdict. Well the love like cat and cat and now a nice litter is on the way due for the final week of the holiday season when everyone is running round like lunatics trying to finish all the last minute jobs associated with the close down. All I can say is typical!

I'm glad that your getting kittens.Even in one of our neighbors home there are three new born kittens and as usual they are so cute.As we already have a cat in our home,we are not ready for the next cat.Happy to hear that you like cats.

And the interesting thing is that the father of the three kittens is our cat.So a small kitten is looking like our cat with almost all its features.

LOL. Yes, when they get those hormones going, things happen. Well, you can get the male neutered right away, but you might want to wait on the female until the kittens are about weaned.

lol congrats on your upcoming additions to your family! For sure bring the male in asap, and the female as soon as the litter is 8 weeks old (they don't need milk from their mom after that).

When a cat goes into heat - she doesn't care who it is, she will submit and the male will do it too. get him fixed while the fixing is good - you might still be able to stop him from spraying.

oh no, the kittens are having kittens, as well as the owners having 'kittens' with shock. funny enough just now, a few minutes ago, I had been doing a quiz on line with PETA and apparently cats are able to start breeding from 8 weeks onwards!! i know this is not your fault, shelagh77, but its always best to get your pets neutered as soon as medically possible. i just hope you are able to get the new kittens rehomed.and no, thank you, i have 5 cats already!!! if i had the room i would adopt a few more cats but if i did you would hear this almighty whining noise, No not my dog objecting.... my husband!!! best of luck.my thoughts are with you xxx
