Please pray for my brother-in-law tomorrow

My husband's brother has been battling throat cancer for six years now. He beat it once and was cancer free for several years but it recently came back. He has lost his voice completely and is scheduled for surgery tomorrow.
They have only three options:
Remove all of the cancer, including some portion of his throat and put a port in for him to breath through. He will then need something mechanical to speak with.
Remove some of it and buy him some time.
Worst case, they may not be able to remove any of it so then he will learn how much time he has left, which may be as little as six months.
Since he's already been through chemo and radiation twice his doctor says that those are no longer an option. To make matters worse, he has no insurance but this doctor has been caring for him for free and the hospital is waiving payment until a later date.
This is my husband's little brother and they have always been close. His first battle with cancer was one of the reasons why we moved down here to Florida and why we live around the corner from him. He and his wife don't want anyone to go to the hospital with them but I'm staying home from work tomorrow to be there for my husband and to be available should they change their minds and decide that they want us there.
So, if you guys and gals would please think good thoughts and say a prayer for David, that the doctors are able to remove the cancer, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you so much.

I am really sorry your brother-in-law has to go through all this pain. And I am sure the Divine will help him and be with him. I hope everything will be alright with him.

I certainly will keep him in my prayers. We also have a close friend going thru a second battle with cancer, but he has little or no chance of long term survival. He has Multiple myeloma, essentailly a bone cancer, and it is now back along with Leukemia. His white count is too low for a big battle with the leukemia. Myeloma is alow growing cancer, but with this new complication, the choices ar slim. He now lives on pain meds. I pray for his recovery, bt do not want him to suffer. Cancer has touched so many people. I hope your BIL has a good outcome.

Thanks Barbietre. I'm so sorry about your friend and will add him to my prayers, too. You're right, cancer has touch so many...too many people. My husband is a mess with worry. So far he's lost his glasses and his wedding band this afternoon. I'm sure they'll turn up and, if the situation wasn't so dire, I'd probably be laughing at him but I know how hard it is for him to concentrate on anything right now.

I am so sorry to hear about this and will definitely keep him, and all of you, in my prayers. I really hope they can get all the cancer. I wish so much they could find a cure for cancer. We have quite a bit of it in my family. It's a terrible disease.

Thanks, sunnflr, I wish they could find a cure, too. Each time David came back from a check up with good news it was such a relief but, all of a sudden, his voice got real raspy and I think we all knew that it had returned.
