That is just how I am feeling for the past month and it has just increased in the past 10 days. I don't know why I am feeling this way. Most of my life is going as it should be in my life(shouldn't say everything because I recently lost a loved one)I have a loving husband and two terrific kids, but I feel completely void. Has this happened to you? Have you ever wondered what could be the reason for a sudden depression and how to get over this? If you are wondering that the loved one's death could be a reason, I know it has been a terrible factor but the depression was there even before the death!!

Depression is a common problem in today´s world. There is one thing that most people don´t know that could help. We need to give our brain and other cells the right nutrition to feel good and happy...
You can read my experience here, maybe it will help you:

Losing loved ones is very traumatic. I believe in resurrection and a future solution for the problems we are dealing with now, but it is also important to feed our brain the right way.

Could be, I think we need more than Omega3 and that is why I am taking a lot more of the different food supplements to keep my body in balance. The problem for us in so called developed countries is that we have lots of food but only 5% of us get optimal nutrition.....So GNLD is doing a lot of good when they inform us how to complete our food with nutrition we cannot always buy in the ordinary stores.
They have a wonderful tablet Cruciferous Plus with vegetables that should be eaten every day like broccoli and others - vegetables that help us to prevent hormone related cancer. How many of us eat broccoli every day?
All the food supplements together should help us to keep the hormones in better balance too..

When I thought of it as hormonal imbalance, I am kind of more ok with it. That is something that I cannot control. Knowing that it is just some body fluids doing their part, gives you more control and its easier to leave the depression alone and find something else to concentrate on. Good luck on your efforts .

Well, if you have been feeling like this for some time, it may also be caused by hormonal imbalance.I do not know your age but if you are nearing or are above forties this may be a reason for compounding factors. I have read about this and haev also heard other women talk about it[irritability, helplessness and depression are some signs]
I even heard that one woman just felt like crying for no reason at all.

I am also in the same suitation.I also lost loved one to whom i loved the most in my life.I last him 2yrs back.He was my dad.He was everything to me.He was more than a friend for me.I used to share everything with him.In very rare cases father & daughter will b so close to each other.i was very lucky in that. But it didnt stay for long time in m life.2yrs back our home was filled with joy because that month i got married & everyone were very happy & i moved abroad with my husband exactly after 15days of my marriage i lost my dad. that was very shocking for me till now i hv not come out of it.
NOw i have everything in my life.My husband loves me a lot & very care, till now he has not hurted me.We dont have any problem in our life. But still i have not come out of it.I always feel like talking to my dad & share things with him.I feel like crying sometimes without any reason.as u said i feel sudden depression.& i am always worried abt my mom & my sister.
I tried to divert myself but i couldnt.I dont know when i will get over of this & lead happy life.
Its very hard to live.I miss him a lot.
Sorry i cant suggest anything for u because i am also sailing in the same boot.

I feel so sorry for you. I had a friend who had the exact same thing happen to her. She lost her father just a week after marriage and her mother 5 months later. I know how hard that can be. You have to be brave for your sake and for the sake of your mother and sister. All I can do now is keep you in my prayers. And please remember that your dad is with you, only you are not able to see him physically. Thanks for sharing your moments!! May God give you the strength to bear the loss.

I do have times of lowness and the blues once in a while. I do also have a case of depression but it is kept in check. It isn't always easy dealing with it and sometimes I am in a good mood but get struck with feeling down for no reason.
Well what happens actually is that I eventually snap out of it. The down feeling doesn't last for long but it can be a mystery to be struck with sadness suddenly.
