Do you believe in ghosts?

Before I started spending a lot of time at my Aunt's house I never believed in them. All the shows on TV obviously weren't real and were there for ratings and entertainment value. Well, since experincing what happens in my Aunt's house, I do believe ghosts can be real. Let me outline some of my reasons behind this conclusion. The first thing I ever experinced was seeing the trashcan in the kitchen move away from the wall, and I wasn't the only one to see it, my Aunt and cousin were in the room and saw it as well. Needless to say, that creeped me out enough I didn't want to stay there but ended up house sitting for them one weekend. I was drying and putting up clothes when I went in my cousin's room and heard a really loud thud in the closet. I opened the door and all the clothes were off their hangers, and a couple of the hangers were swinging. My Aunt and Uncle have described several incidents like that, but most often they hear footsteps, and beating on the walls when their alone in the house, occasionally when guests are over. This is mildly perplexing being they built that house, my only thoughts is that their haunting has to do with the land on which the house has been built. It brings back thoughts of that movie Poltergiest.
