Do you ever get bored here on mylot ?

Personally, I think we all have been bored in here a time or two. This site definately tends to go in spurts as far as activity goes. Also sometimes the people who used to be quite active in here are not as active either. All I can say, is people do have other lives besides being online and in myLot. When I find myself getting bored with this site, I go find other stuff to do like check Email, surf the Internet, play a game, and come back later and post a little. I am still having fun. Just wish people were not disappearing so quick sometimes.

Oh yes, I find that I get more and more bored all the time. When I get on the site I try hard to find discussions that I can reply to, but there are just none here most of the time anymore. Sometimes I will not even get onto mylot for days at a time. I used to be addicted to mylot, you could not keep me away from it, but it really is changing.

Yes I do get bored on mylot some days. I just go do something else and come back later. Somtimes there is just no good posts on and then it gets really boring when their is nothing to reply to since I am a replier and not a discussion starter.

Hi Elitess, It is like anything in life, it has its ups and downs, just respond to posts of your interest and take a break if you need too, I do that for a couple of days now and then when the posts seem repetitive but most of my friends discussions do seem to have great topics and a sense of humour too tha makes it fun for me. Don't get disheartend. Search in discussions of your interests and maybe add a few too to your list and that should give you a boost of new discussions to get to grips with. Ellie :D

I think that everyone feels bored here every once in a while. Yes, more so because the quality of discussions diminish. I think partially that one person thinks their discussion is of great quality and yet the rest do not. Although I have seen a lot that are irrelevant, and some from users who are here to practice their English, and they do try, but sometimes it's more confusing. I try to help those who are still learning English because I would hope that If I were to learn a foreign language I would receive the same help. I think that you should just do what you can with discussions you find and experiment with what pays more. I'm not sure if Blogs or articles do, but that would definitely be something to look into. Yeah I know what you mean. I think as with everything when we got here first with all the enthusiasm that we had, we kinda got in myLot more than we really should and so during the course of time we would get tired of seeing, looking at, doing something that we were always doing for most of our first months here. There were also 'privileges' that we had to look forward to like having a star, posting photos, things like that. Maybe thats why after reaching the 500th post, there really isnt much to do on here. Just wishing, hoping and praying that someone would start a discussion that you'd get lost in. I plan to stay here also. I cant leave it but Im just not interested in anything anymore. Good thing there are friends and the monetary incentive is also there for motivation but other than that finding a good nugget of a discussion has recently become hard to find.

I do have times when it's hard to find anything to do around here, but also times when I find many interesting discussions. It depends on my state of spirit too - I'm not always in the mood for mylotting.

Yes, I have gotten bored here on more than one occasion. But I have always come back. With so many discussions on here it is hard to stay bored on mylot for very long, at least for me anyway.

Ocassionally I will get what I call mylot burnout.. which makes me just take some time off here. But I don't think that I have ever gotten bored just burned out .. LOL!!

Yes, I do. When this happens, I will usually just go to another site and do something else.. I will make time for something else.

no i haven't been bored ... while working on mylot ... because i get too much of fun and sharing ideas with friends .. and discussion with others ..

No I do not get bored at my lot and some time I feel sick when I do not get some good discussion to reply and then I am irritated I use to disconnect and switch off the monitor and get rid of it for some time. Again I come here and find some or I start commenting on the responses I receive and also find some new topic to post a discussion. I am looking for some time that if my good and reliable discussions are not responded I will switch over to the casual one to get rid of it. At least I have plan to out from here.

well today for me was a bit quite and i think that i wont term it as bored. maybe how its my first time and i am just a newbee. but maybe i will get to that point one of these days. but i am enjoying it here so far.

hello friend,yep, i think i am also addicted into mylot now. I have joined mylot for more than 2 months. and i will receive my second payout soon.I am very happy with it. and i always respond every discussion or the response in my topic seriously.I never feel tired of posting the thread on mylot.Of course, maybe sometimes, i feel bored because i couldn't find some interesting topics to discuss.but it is just a short time for me. afte i refresh the web, i will find the good threads in the discussion page again.lol good luck to you
