What constitutes an "active" referral?

I just came from my WordLinx account. I haven't really looked at any of my stats except how much I've earned in some time. I clicked on referrals and lo and behold I have 2. ??? I know my account has only been going up by the amount of ads I click on, so I go looking a little further into this referral thing. Sure enough, I have one referral on the 27th of August and one on the 28th of August. Neither one has clicked a single ad since signing up, but they are both classed as "active". So how long do they have to be there without clicking to be considered inactive? Anybody know? Does it depend on the site? Fortunately I didn't purchase them, so I'm not out anything.

i am a member of worldlinx just yesterday and i am so dismayed about it but that is just my case and with your Q, i haven't look up with that in worldlinx. but what i am sure is, most sites often deletes member who have been inactive for 30 days. i have many sites that have the same standards in deleting inactive members in that span of time. try checking it out in FAQ or the TOS, somehow it should be there. GL!!
