Have you ever made homemade wine?

I am making my first attempt at making homemade wine. We found some wild plums and some wild grapes in the woods and I have put them in the crocks to ferment for wine. A neighbor brought us a bottle of wild grape wine that he had made and aged for two years and it was wonderful? Has anyone ever made their own wine? Do you have any good places to buy winemaking supplies?

I have three kinds in process right now - wild plum, wild grape, and crabapple.

There are all sorts of fancy winemaking kits for sale, but I'm doing this on a limited budget, so I'm using a couple of pickle crocks that I have used for pickles in the past. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about bottling it - the bottles aren't all that expensive but the shipping to get them here is expensive.
