Hahaha... this world is so crazy and so sad.. I've never heard of it either, but I mean she probably made it up herself also. (You never know) Ice has no flavor, it's a lot like water, but sometimes you can crunch/bite on it like food.. so she probably thinks that it's her way of fooling her body into thinking that she's actually eating when it's just water.. Too bad she doesn't realize that water packs in some weight also.

All you have to do is pick just one food to eat and guess what? You have invented a wonderful new diet. It is sad.

That is what I thought as well, but that just can't be healthy...Her body is going to need more substance....

I have never heard of this either but with so many different diets out there today you never know what they are going to come up with next .
One would have to assume this means that all she is doing is drinking ice but why she would go to a restaurant if all she was drinking was ice is beyond me , or I guess I should have said eating ice .
You would think that if one was trying to diet that a restaurant would be the last place they would go .
Do you know this person or happened to over hear it or were you the one waitressing on her ? The one who was taking her order should have asked her what that meant lol .

My daugher waited on her and she wasn't sure if she had to charge her for the ice so she asked..There was no charge...that is when she said she was on the ice diet...My daughter said she wasn't about to ask what it was all about...
It doesn't make sense....LOL

I've never heard of an ice diet but my aunt was on one kind of years ago. She was working alot and got to where she was hardly eating. She shrunk her stomach down real small and couldn't hold anything other than ice cubes in it. I believe she had to go into the hospital b/c of it.

well, i'm pretty sure the diet would definitely work, as there's absolutely nothing in ice but water.
but i'm just wondering why someone would waste their time to go to a restaurant to order ICE.
were they with someone, and if so, how embarrassed were they........or did they order the same thing.
how much does one tip for a glass of ice???

you fill your stomach up with ice and then you're not hungry. It's unhealthy as hell, but so are most starvation diets.

Hi Feona,
I've sure never heard of such a diet. I wonder if the woman 'actually' needs to lose any weight? Sadly, there are so many eating disorders around these days. If she eats only ice, her health is going to suffer for it, for sure. At the very least, she'll be passing out from lack of food. Crazy!

Sounds like another stupid fad diet that someone is going to pay for one way or another..So you heard this in a real restaurant and not a sitcom or anything like that?
