Hey everyone! So I was sitting here and realized since I've gone back to bookworm phase I'm soon going to be out of books to read. I've almost gone through my list and will be looking for new books to read so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I love love vampire books along with fantasy/magical things. Some of my recent reads include The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, The Twilight Saga by Stephine Meyer, The Harry Potter Books, The Eragon Books, Tithe, and Runemarks. Anyone have any sugguestions? It doesn't matter if they are YA or Adult as long as it has a good storyline and something you can lose yourself into.

Check out the Anita Blake Series, it's about vampires and the first three books are amazing. The third is mind-blowing intense. If your a fan of Anne Rice and Twilight, definitely check into those, the book covers tend to look racy, but it has nothing to do with the story, now after the third book for me, they start going down hill, but I can't praise the first three enough.

I really liked The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. It was one of those books that I just couldn't put down until I finished. I believe that I cried in places too. Highly recommended. Also, Diana Gabaldon's A Breath of Snow and Ashes was also very compelling. It is really long, so it was worth it's price in that it took me a week to finish. I also love to reread The Chronicles of Narnia. There are 7 books and are a wonderful fantasy series.

Good morning, MusicLover. I have enjoyed reading all the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I didn't read these until my adult years. I didn't even know they existed until my adult years. I do believe that I would have enjoyed reading them when I was a kid. There are a few Stephen King books I liked: "Rose Madder" and "Christine". I have been reading books by Beverly Lewis. I have found that my local library does not have any of her books though. I was disappointed when I saw that. I'll just have to go to my WalMart store to buy her books. The next book I'm planning to read is "The daVinci Code". It's been on my shelf with other books for awhile. I'm still waiting to read it after I finish "Jane Eyre". I've seen The Eragon Books at WalMart and have wondered what they are about. Could you tell me a little bit about them before I would decide to buy any? I know each person has his/her own reading preferences, but I'm willing to read something someone else suggests.

Aw I recognize a lot of the books you menitioned although I haven't read them yet myself, but I have a friend who has. My friend loves the classics like Jane Eyre or Pride and Prejudice. The Eragon Books, there are two out now and the third one comes out next week if I remember correctly. It's set up in a land where they have a one king who rules over them that most people don't like at all. There are unique creatures such as dwarfs, elves, dragons, shades and others. It focus on a young boy who loves to hunt and works on a farm. He lives with his cousin and uncle. He finds an egg one day and decides to bring it home where it ends up hatching. He doesn't know what it is as first until an event happens which leads him into finding out it is a dragon and he is what people call a Rider. There is a whole story about Riders and their history which is explained. It's not safe for Eragon (the young boy) to stay where he is knowing the king will send an army looking for him so he leaves with a "bard" from the village and they begin their journey. Through their journey training happens, things are revealed, and challenges arise. It's pretty good if you like this sort of writing. Eldest is the second book and gets more into the whole elven culture and Eragon's cousins life as well as more revealations...hope that helps :D Also, before you buy books at walmart you might want to try looking up how much they are at amazon, I buy most of my books there since they usually discount them and if you spend $25 the shipping is free so its worth it depending on how much you are buying :) Thanks for your suggestions as well!

I don't read the kind of books you are talking about but my kids do. My oldest son enjoys the Brian Jacques, "Red Wall" series. My daughter likes Michelle Paver books as well as a series that is all about cats (fantasy). She has also now begun to read Stephen King books.
