I am only 18 years old but I consider myself a pretty mature person. I'd sometimes think about how does it feel have children, something to feel happy for, to protect and to fight for =). I've also always loved kids; I mean, I like to play around with my nephews XD.
I know that a lot of mylotters are parents so leave a comment =D!

Being a parent is really a blessing...From conception to child rearing...It's really great. The way your baby smiles, clings, hugs, cries and calls you Mom/Dad brings you unexplainable happiness. On the otherhand, being a parent means obligation, sacrifices. Therefore, one must be ready enough in facing parenthood. I guess, at your age, you need to explore more, enjoy your youth so that when it's your turn to become a parent, you can face those sacrifices and challenges with happiness without regrets.

Being a parent is the most wonderful thing in the world, but it also has it's up's and downs and this is what you must think about before you have a child of your own. When you have a child it is all about that baby and is no longer about you, you do not come first now the baby dose. You will be up in the middle of the night to feed and chang that baby you wont get much sleep and i don't know how you are when you don't get sleep but I get a little up set.You will no longer be able to do the things you want to do. And I must tell you even when you a just about to have a child you must be perpared money wise because it cost a lot to raise a baby. Also it will hurt like hell when you push that baby out so I hope you are ready for that I know I had 2.

A lot of being a parent is as you stated. There's a lot more to it though. You have to be able to be fair, take things in stride, know when to walk away from the crying baby and when to pick him up. You have to love unconditionally. No matter what your child does or becomes in life you still love that child.

Im not yet a parent but i took care of my siblings when they were young. I love kids and i guess it was a big responsibilty being mom. You have to set a good example to your kids. Also being mom is not only playing the role of a mother but a good wife too!

It feels really good to be a parent. Your own child who is a part of you, to see the child grow and do so many things little cute things. To hear them say "Ma" and other such cute sounds that they make. to see them walk without balance! to see their tiny hands and how they wave bye! Everything about being a parent feels great.
