How do you Spike a Watermelon with Alcohol?

i have heard that you just stab it a lot but then i was never told how to get the alcohol in it.. am i suppose to use those eye dropper looking those things? obviously if i stab it all around it will leak out when moved around.. im confused 
and im guessing vodka right?? i wish i could do champagne but the texture of the watermelon and the bubbles would prob be gross..
anyways if you know how to spike a watermelon please tell me

my friends & i do think is summer its great fun & a nice treat on a hot day basically we get a watermelon & cut a hole in the top of it &turn a bottle of vodka upside down in the hole & let it drain in to the water melon until the bottle is empty, we then usually put it into the fridge for a while so that its cold when we eat it

I was told two different ways. One you use needles like the ones they use to give people shoots with. I also heard that you just cut a whole in it and fill it up. It will soak down and you just keep pouring more in.

Sounds good and everyone is giving good suggestions, but I wouldn't use a needle. Besides, cutting a hole in it and pouring liqu0r in sounds much easier.
I bet flavored vodkas would taste great also! You could try the ultimate watermelon and use watermelon vodka.
I think some other nice combinations might be captain morgan, raspberry or any berry vodka like blueberry, ORANGE VODKA would probably be delicious in it too!
