when a website ask for you real name, do you give it?

sometimes when a website asked for my name, i would just type in any name that come to my mind. how about you? are you honest to all the website?

I will only give my real name to the trusted site maybe a popular stie. I quite scare in giving my name to every website. Because I'm afraid that my name can be use in any negative thing. I don't know my scare is right or just my imagination.

it is unknown as to what the website might do with our particulars, so it is always better be safe than sorry.

depends on the type of site, and the confidence I have in him. if I can trust put the real name, especially if they have to receive payments. many will take advantage to send spam...but normally do always real name, gmail protect me from spam, if arrives ;)

well t mostly depends what kinda of a site is it and sometimes it is not even compulsory to give your name.
