Oh yes I am. i started watching hockey back in 1997, the year the Wings won over Phiilly. The Red Wings were on t.v, a lot and I got to know the team. And I liked what I saw. Stevie Y, Federov, and my baby, Brendan Shanahan. And I got to see them hoist the Cup.I came in in the second half of the season. But I saw All of the 1998 season. And I got to see a great gift, my Caps, they are my local team, and The Wings played in the final. It was sweet. From that time on, through all the personal changes, I am a Red Wing fan.

My first love is the Toronto Maple Leafs however i am a fan of any NHL team that plays sound and competive hockey I would rather see Detriot defeat thge Leafs in a triller 4-3 game then see the Leafs win the game 11-0 I think of myself as a hockey fan and that includes all the teams inn the NHL and for that matter the other pro leagues around Have a Great day and in a few days we will begin the long journey to a 2009 Stanley Cup and if its the Detriot Red Wings I can live with that Good Luck and Have a great day and great winter of great hockey

im a edmonton oilers fan throw and throw the red wings are good but growing up with the oilers in the golden years seeing what they can do its hard to even compare any other team to them after all the trades back in the 80's the qulity went down but i think it will get back to that lvl one day

Yes. I have been a Wings fan as long as I can remember. As a matter of fact, I just watched them know off the Ranger 28 seconds into OT. Great game! I can't wait until Z gets back, but it was nice to see Hossa finally get one in the goal column.

I'm a Leafs fan thru-and-thru, but i admire the Red Wings organization for what they've been able to do. Dispite NEVER haveing high draft picks, they always find gems, make timely FA signings that fit just right, and treat their veterans well (Chelly!) And rube can build a team if they have four or five #1 and #2 picks (*cough* Penguins *cough*), but the Detroit dynasty is something else.
Here's hoping my Leafs learn from them :P haha

Yep love me some hockey first and foremost, Wings fan all the way though. Ready for the season to get on the way. Interested in seeing who it is thats getting traded is it Lilja, Meech, or Quincy. We have been saying Lilja is the odd man out all summer, and really seem to be building his trade value up. Would not surprise me to see him staying in ATL after the team leaves from the game.

Well that answered that question. But a little bit more than you asked. I don't mind the Red Wings. I think they have a good organization and really appreciated Yzerman and the class he demonstrated to the League. I am a Toronto Maple Leaf fan and have been all my life. even though they haven't won in so long.
