Me, I look at life as a mirror. Just like a mirror, if I frown at it, it frowns back at me. If I smile, it returns the greetings.
That is how I look at life. Simple and yet meaningful in every way. Even if there are problems and hardships I still keep a smiling face, a positive outlook and that I think will help to make my life easier to get by. I don't think too much of the problems cause thinking of it would only make my life frown.
That also is the same in my dealings with people. I always show them good so in that way I will be treated with respect too.
How about you guys? Please do share!

Nice discussion. I have to say that a mirror wouldn't be my best object. I think that's for people who follow the whole 'Smile and the world smile with you' crowd. I'm not really one of them, lol. Well, I guess I'd have to say I identify with water. It's an object in it's own way. It's transparent, free, and depending on the water pollution it can offer light and give off reflections.

I am the got o person when someone needs my help with something. Good catch, lol. And I don't mind helping others, it makes me feel appreciated. Little things in life make me happy.

Hmmm. This is an interesting question! A mirror is a good example actually. What you see is what you get! Life is very much like that and what you put into it you get back out of it. I am not sure what object would best describe my outlook on life to be honest. Not sure if you would class this as an "object" but maybe a sky? Vast, limitless; sometimes bright and sunny, other times dull and gray; yet beneficial to us and ALWAYS there whether we wish to gaze into it or not. A sky is the only thing that carries those clouds with a silver lining also!

Thank you! My life is far from where I wish for it to be right now but I am always striving to improve it. I can't ask more from myself than this and will always do my best to be as positive and optimistic as I can. It's not easy but I owe it to myself to always try!

I like your idea of life as a mirror. It is very true and it does work both ways. Someone who is always complaining will always have things to complain about, but someone who feels gratitude for what they have, rather than focus on what they don't have, will always have even more to be grateful for.
I think of life as my lover. Life can be very good to me, it can give me joy and happiness, treat me well, but if sometimes I feel let down, or I think life is being unfair to me, I can still go on loving life, in the same way we all go on loving someone we know is not perfect.
