What would you do if you were getting creepy texts?

So at 9:58P.M. I get a text from a number I don't recognize that says "hey" I thought maybe it was one of my friends, who maybe changed their number and neglected to tell me. So I responded with "Hey, who is this" I got one back with "Cody, Who is this?" Well I've never even met a Cody in my enitre life so I said "Amber, lol I think you have the wrong number" Then he continues to send the following which I never reply to.
10:01pm: Im tryin 2 find sum new friends
10:39pm: Hey
10:45pm: Hello
12:08am: Hey help me
Now honestly, I figured after I didn't reply the first time "Cody" would have figured out I'm not talking to him. I thought maybe it was joke being played on me but considering it was that late, and I live alone, I was fairly creeped out. You never know about people anymore. So here's my question, what would you do?

i ignore these kinds of text or those people whom i do not know and texts. it's quite hard for me to believe those whom i do not know most of the times because a lot of them are prankers.

i usually ignore those kind of messages coz if you keep on replying, the sender will just think that youre intersted when in fact, youre really not. so to avoid things that might freak you out, just dont give a d*mn bout it :)

i usually ignore those kinds of text messages but in your case its way too scary because as you say your living alone. well, if i was in your case, i think i'll definitely call my friends! or even the police! lol. i'm really such a scaredy-cat so i'll probably freak-out.=O
