There is more IT ciminality right now tdc has told us to beware of following 4 emails:
The best video ever.
Over the weekend two criminality groups has send out a huge amount of spammails. This mail has a video attatched saying it is the best video ever. Instead you get a netbanthief called zbot.
Greetingcards.
There is alot of 'greetingcards' running around right now. If you press it you will have a rootkit installed and a fake antivirus you really dont want since it doesnt help youre pc the antivirus is called Smart Antivirus 2009 (i dont think it is very smart -.-)
Plane tickets.
Did you forget to order plane tickets? No of course you did not. But that is what the criminals want you to believe.
Mails subject: Satement of fees 2008/09
Tekst is:
Please find attached a statement of fees as requested, this will be posted today. The accommodation is dealt with by another section and i have passed youre request on to them today.

Unfortunantly we were not able to deliver postal package you sent on ast september in time because the recipients adress is not correct please print out the invoice copy attached and collect the package at our office. This is a key logger

There are so many spam emails doing the rounds at any given time. The only sensible thing to do is to exercise caution when you open the mail. If you don't know the sender, don't download an attachment. If it's from a bank who you don't have an account with, or comes with wrong headers, it's obviously fake.
I think the main problem with people getting scammed is because they're greedy. Understandable, if an email says you're entitled to millions of dollars, you're going to want it! If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.
