Where do you go FIRST after logging in to MyLot???

I have been wondering this for a few days now and thought it might be good to get ideas or views from fellow mylotters...When first signing on to MyLot, what is the very first thing you do? Where do you go FIRST? Is there a right or wrong on where one should start?
I worry that I might be missing a good discussion or perhaps responding to a discussion I may have started. Which brings up another question "is it necessary to always return to your started discussions to reply to posts the others have given on your discussions?" Sometimes, I just like to read over the posts to see what others feel on the subject I have started.
I do know that there are different tabs to click on to see recent discussions and others, but just wondered if there is a "best one" to go to first to maximize the MyLot opportunity.
Anybody???

I always go straight to discussion and sort things out from todays top to unresolved. I find it more efficient and organize compare to moving from one discussion to several discussion.

Thank you all for those responses....I guess I'm not doing half bad! I, too, jump into the discussions or topics that I am interested in. Otherwise, I don't feel I can contribute to the conversation well if I don't feel anything on the topic. Like many of you, I do check on the discussions I have started and also enjoy going into the HOT, RECENT and NEW sections.
Thanks again! :)

The first place I go to is the section with the discussions I have started myself. if there are any responses I will reply to all of them and then go straign to the "Friends Started" section. If I find nothing overly intriguing in that section then I spend most of my time in the "New" section and keep checking back between that and the friends started section. I think you will fined that there is no perfect apprioach as such but it all comes down to personal preference.
An in regards to your question about replying to responses? It is not NECESSARY no; but I personally will reply to each and every response to a topic I have started because for one, people have made the effort to reply; and secondly because it encourages further activity within my post. Not everyone does this but I have chosen to myself.

I like to go to the news first if it is the morning. If it is later in the day, I might check back on the news but I will look to see what is being posted on my interest categories. I like to find out what people are posting in the various categories. It is pretty interesting.

The first thing I do is check my friend request. Then I check my messages. I go from there to respond to discussions I started. and then to my friend discussions and then the new ones.

hi there. when i log in i first look at the discussions that my friends have started. i respond to those and later on i check with the top interests for the day. then i respond to the discussions that are under my interests. i don't actually answer all the discussions, only to the one's which i feel is good. i do check with the responses that are given. i give positive rating to all and select the best response. i never give a negative rating to anyone. happy mylotting.

first i check the today's top discussion until i can think of starting a new discussion. I participate in giving my opinions with the discussions they started. A fter that i will check the started box and see if there are comments on my discussion and if there's any i see to it that i will comment back. Well there are a lot of topics that you can participate or put your thoughts so you won't have a hard time thinking of what to do first.Happy mylotting, cheers!

I've tried a few different options. But I am finding that using the new topics today seems to get higher cash results each day. I also visit threads I have started because I am interested in peoples reactions. I also visit threads my friends have started. I don't go to all of them. If I am not interested in them, I really don't have anything to say.

Well first of all i will visit my started discussions if i see new answers on the main page. If not, i will visit my friends started discussions, and then i guess recent. I sometimes like to upload photos as well.

After logging in into mylot I first check how much money I earned . Then I check if I have any new messages or any new friends requests.
After that I see if any of my discussions received a response. Then I go to home page and review the content there. If I don't find anything interesting there, I go to the discussions tab and check for new discussions, go to various topics from the header icons and find discussions I could respond to.
Finally when I am done with mylotting, or in case I don't find any good discussions to reply, I close the window.
Thanks

First place I go is discussions. I feel like every time I log out there are questions that are being unanswered. I feel bad that I can't be on all the time and help people out. So when I jump on I immediately head there so I can catch up on lost time so to speak. Only after I answer a few do I check other things regarding my profile or ask any questions that I may have myself. My questions can wait...because someone out there might really need help.
