how to...change ip address?

How can I change my ip address?? Don't tell me "switch off your modem and you will change it" I already know it :) I heard about some extensions of firefox, but I don't know how to use them...is there someone that uses this method?? Or that can suggest me something else? Please help me...!! thanks byee!

hey...there is a software through which u can change ur ip address...name ipchanger v2.0..there are so many ip changer software..if u are known with torrent files..then u can download ipchanger torrent file..and get full version of it..

i dont think u can change ur external ip without resetting. but u can configure it in ur modem. in modem configuraion, make dhcp to assign ur internal ip address and give the lease time as 1 hour. this will make the modem to automatically cut the connection every one hour and DHCP will reassign ur internal ip. this will make ur external ip to change automatically. many say that there are softwares to change ur ip or to hide them, but i am well aware of those,

Nah only way I know is by resetting ur modem. Why do u want to change it anyway? Most ppl want a static IP address.
