Do you know of a good parenting website?

I need one where I can read about what my foster son should be doing developmentally each week. His mother only has an IQ of 40 and I want to see if he is behind other babies or not. I think he's pretty smart, but then I'm a little predijust because I love him so much. LOL

I think the psychologist Jean Piaget has the best developmental schedule and I have provided a link that describes each stage. Although these stages have nothing to do with IQ, they are helpful and I think important for foster/adopted children.

Here are three that seem like they might be useful:
The New Parents Guide website:
http://www.thenewparentsguide.com/baby-development-main.htm
Medline:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/infantandtoddlerdevelopment.html
Mayo Clinic's Recommendations:
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/infant-development/PR00061
You are going to have a bit of reading to do in addition to all your other new mom responsibilities!

I like www.babycenter.com It's a pretty straight forward site. It does give a wide range of "normal" though so you may not find it quite helpful enough...it just depends on what specifics you're trying to check on.
