i really like the computer that my sister has a lot more than my own because its one of the new dell computers and its really fast and has a lot of good features on it, i really like the way that it works, and mine is an everex and its really slow i think its because its not a namebrand but the guy at wal mart told me that it was one of the best because he had one of his own and that it would be good for me and i bought it and now its not that great...so what is the best computer you ever had or you ever wanted to have? thanks for taking the time out of your day to read and review my discussion and hopefully answer it as well, i hope that you all have had a great day so far and that you continue to have a great day...thanks again for taking the time!

My best was by far my first Commodore 64. I still have some, even a rare portable c-64.
As for more recent, the last Dell I had was great, it had XP and a widescreen. It was a great machine. My son has it now.
My newest would be by far the best Ive ever had, its a Dell but for one small problem.
It has Vista!

I think Dell's the best, my PC is from Dell and it runs on duel core system. Some other brands i don't think i try it but the most expensive one i could say is HP or Sony. (I think).

My current computer is so far the best for me, specially I love branded Pc's so that I could trouble them when I am in trouble, also it delivers great performance and needs less maintenance than the assembled ones.
It is high configuration, having server capabilities, its most of the time on, downloading something or the other.
And the brand, DELL, just crazy about it.
HDD 320GB, max till now, thinking of upgrading it to 500GB, although just 80GB is sufficient, I use it to store my softwares rather burning them to disks.

The best computer I have ever had was a Compaq computer. Honestly, it was the best computer I ever had because it never broken down on me. All of my Dell computers have been nothing, but crap. Yes, I said it, Dell is nothing, but crap.

For me the best computer will be Dell. I using Dell for quite many years already. I will only choose Dell computer if I need to buy any new computer. I think Dell provide good service even after sell. If I have any problem with the computer, Dell help me solve the problem quickly.

I use Gateway. In the past I had a Dell and liked it as well. A few years back
I had an HP and never will have another on of those. HP makes good printers but
I don't like their PC's, at all.
You have a good day too! It's a rainy morning in North Carolina, but other than
that, it's all good!

The best computer i've had should be the laptop I am using right now. Although its not a monster laptop its pretty decent and I can play alot of the new dx10 games.
I can run most of them in middle details which is enoguh for me since i am not so much of a hardcore gamer.
I just use my laptop for university and school work so it does the job.
Also since laptop prices have reduced their costs, actually desktops too, i think computer in general are pretty much very affordable for most people nowadays.

what's the best computer I ever had?? well I do admit that dell makes both pretty darn good laptop and desktop computers, but they will never be my best.. because the computer I BUILT ON MY OWN will ALWAYS BE THE BEST!!!! I do personally like dell computers, they have pretty good performance, but you gotta know that one biggest con of all desktop and laptop computers is they all come with windows vista, which i call them windows $#itsta LOL -_-;;

My brother just recently bought an Apple computer and it is nice but very high pricey but I do believe it is worth its money. I am satisfied with my Toshiba as long as I can get things done for school and do some surfing on the internet I am good, I actually purchased this laptop at Walmart in 2006 and am very satisfied with the speed at the price.

i have a dell notebook right now. i have had this reliable notebook for 5 years with no failures. its running windows xp 1.60 ghz processor, i have upgraded to ram to its fullest running 2054mb of ram. the only downfall to this computer is no cd burner but thats why i have an external ligthscribe dvd/cd burner.
