Oh here in the Philippines, MALLS are the biggest places to go to have fun...
We have SM Mall of Asia, the biggest in Asia, beat that. :) I love to go there for people watching, Glorietta for serious shopping and dept. stores or bargain shopping. :) In SM there is also thrift shops such as the Surplus shop which - you guessed right, sells surplus items at dirt-cheap prices. If you're not used to crowded malls and gigantic ones, the Philippines could be your tourist destination for you to experience that. haha. :)

that's right kevin. sm mall of asia is really huge! i had been there many times and i say it's a bit tiresome to get around everything there. but if you love to be there to look around and for fun, it's one good shopping mall to go to.
and yup.. it;s the biggest one in asia. i even thought before that it was just a joke. but then, i found out it's true!

I have seen a picture of the SM Mall of Asia on the internet and it is quite impressive and I bet it is bigger than both of the malls closest to me combined. I wish that there was a mall like that near me. I may just have to come there and check that mall out. :-)

I agree with you that strip malls are not the same as a regular shopping malls but those in Delaware don't care too much because we love to shop. :-)

There are no malls or shopping where I live. I must travel at least 25 miles to the nearest mall. It's nice, nothing special. Two levels, food area, and lots of stores.

I am such a NON-shopper that I can't honestly say I like ANY mall! If I had to pick I'd probably say the Outlet Mall in Grove City (about an hour from here). But my personal preference in shopping is get in and get out! LOL

I do not usually stay in the malls very long myself, unless I am with family or friends. When I go to the mall, I usually know what I am going to get and then leave after getting that item or items. I do not like malls during the Christmas holiday so I try to avoid it, especially then. Our malls do not get crowded too much so any mall is fine with me if they have what I want or having nice sales.

Well, we have quite a few around here, and such that I enjoy going too. One of them is Westlake Center in downtown Seattle. And then there is Westfield Shopping Center, and the Supermaill that I enjoy as well. And when in Portland I enjoy going to Klakamas Town Center or Lloyd Center.
