hi friends what is god ? is god a person with some more power than us , is it an energy or power which is making and controlling this universe or something else . give me an answer with detail...

Unsure who said this, but it made a whole lot of sense to me. "I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and find out there isn't, than to live my life as if there is no God, and find out there is".
It doesn't matter what, or who he is, I just know that I am not running the world, and neither are you.

The answer is that we are all running the world! Everyone makes their small difference. There is a pattern though to how things go, so I enjoy finding out more as to how that pattern goes, so as to lead a more fulfilled life!

Yes, we can make a difference, but we are not running the world. Heck, we don't even know for sure how this planet started. Can you control something you don't even know about. Of course not. A tree falls in the forest, it still makes noise, whether you are there to hear it or not. Those are the types of things we have no control over. Who controls it? Who knows for sure? I know I did not decide to have all these hurricanes coming into the Gulf of Mexico this year. I have no control over that, and neither do you. You driving an suv at 70 instead of 55 is not going to cause fewer hurricanes (butterfly effect) if it would, would you slow down? Probably not. Something caused this world to come into existence, it was not an accident, evolution is a sham, it has been proven wrong in many ways, heck even Darwin believed God created the world!

I like to belive in God as a superior abstract entity, not getting biased by the perception of religious beliefs. I actually believe that this superior entity is among us. Also I don't look at it as the one represented by christians or islams or buddhists or any other religion, but as an open minded person, just an entity that is superior to us and is the one that controls everything. I like to think this way because everything in life is so organized, all the things that happen to you, happen for a reason, all the things about life itself, friends, family, love, all of it seems so unlikely to be and act of randomness and evolution. I like to believe it's all planned and orchestrated by that superior one =).

Well I believe that 'god', 'ultimate ground of being', whatever you like to call it, is EVERYTHING! But... but she, he or it would get bored contemplating their own navel, so they decided to split into many parts and play a game of hide and seek. That's about it really, there is no ultimate purpose to the universe (literally 'one verse'). Life is for living, exploring what takes your fancy, working at something for a sense of achievement... 'We' throw ourselves many challenges, from beneath our consciousness. In our human world of duality, we have to experience the bad to appreciate the good.
Some food for thought there...

I think God is an abstrack person that we never see it before. The God is only a name that has great power to control this universe. If we believe in God and make a good things, so God will stay near in our heart. But if we do the reserve, we will feel that God is far away from us.
